Quilt Top
• Make sure all seams are secure. Stay stitch outer edge of quilt if necessary.
• Square off quilt top.
• Press both the back and front of your quilt top to be sure your seams lie smooth.
• Trim threads so they don't show through your quilt top.
• Wait to put beads or embellishments on until after the quilt has been quilted.
• Mark the top of the quilt top if there is a preference.
Quilt Backing
• Cut off all selvages.
• Cut backing 6" wider and 6" longer than the quilt top.
• Square off quilt back.
• Mark the top of your quilt back if there is a preference.
Batting
• Cut at least 6" wider and 6" longer than the quilt top.
• Packaged batting uncut is fine.
DO NOT BASTE ALL LAYERS TOGETHER.
Shipping
When mailing your quilt to us please be sure to send it in a box big enough to hold the completed quilt.
